Zaharah is a graduate in Economics from Makerere University. She is the founding director of Women In Action Uganda, an initiative that empowers vulnerable young girls to stay in school. Previously, she has worked as a researcher with the National Planning Authority, in review of the Universal Primary Education policy of Uganda.

Zaharah is an alumni of the Young African Leaders Initiative and she brings wealth of community mobilization, stakeholder engagement and women/girls empowerment to the team.
